- Becky Peak has been honored to serve as the mayor of the City of Plantation since 2002 and her current term will end in 2026.
- She is past president of Jefferson County League of Cities.
- Currently, she is semi-retired and is a substitute teacher at several JCPS schools.
- She is a co-facilitator for the Age-Friendly Louisville – Outdoor Enhancement domain.
- Her past career paths include: certified dementia practitioner/program coordinator; property manager for medical buildings contiguous to a large hospital; director of purchasing and administration for Res-Care; federal civil servant working for General Services Administration – Building Management and U. S. Bankruptcy Court – Western District of KY
- Her servant heart continues to beat with energy and compassion!
- Jeanene Clark, Councilperson Email
- My name is Jeanene Clark. I have been a resident of City of Plantation for 34 years. I have served on the City Council for many years. I have worked in the corporate world and now work in the public sector. I coach 3 sports: Girls Soccer, Swim, and Tennis. I enjoy spending time with my grandkids, crocheting, and reading.

- Nita James, Councilperson Email
- Nita James, a proud mother, grandmother and now great-grandmother! Having had a career in retail management and now property management, serving on the city council was a natural fit. Actively involved in the community outreach programs at Beargrass Christian Church, also on the Executive Board serving as Deacon Chair. To care about issues, you have to be part of the solution. It is with a grateful heart I serve the city, care for the residents, and love to watch the children play and grow on the streets that my children once played.

- Peter Markgraf, Councilperson Email
- Peter Markgraf is honored to serve on the City of Plantation City Council. He began his career in public service in 2023 when he was elected to his first term. He has been a resident of Plantation since 2021 and lives on Bayou Way with his wife, Sarah, and Doberman, Geno. The three of them are often seen walking throughout the neighborhood.
- Peter has been in sales with OUTFRONT Media, an Out of Home Advertising Company, since 2020. He graduated from the University of Louisville in 2017 and has been in Louisville since he began at UofL in 2013. He grew up just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio and comes from a political family, with his Dad being a long term city councilman and current mayor of his smaller city in Northern Kentucky.
- Peter is extremely passionate about walkability, equality, sustainability, and ensuring we leave the world a better place than when we got here.
- He is always looking for positive conversations, so feel free to stop him and talk to him at any time or reach out to him at his email.
- Peter handles issues and initiatives for roads, which includes traffic calming and pot holes.
- Sue Schneider, Councilperson Email
- Welcome to the City of Plantation. I am Susan Schneider, returning City Council member. Having been a resident of Plantation now for the second time, I hope to be your voice for our City. I am Jefferson County Public School teacher at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, I teach Public Service to 6th, 7th and 8th Grades with topics including Civics, Pre-Law, Government, and Emergency Services. When not serving the City of Plantation and JCPS, I am a marathon runner with four World Major Marathons finished. Having spent many years in the court system as an attorney, I am uniquely positioned to bring my background, knowledge and desire to serve the citizens of Plantation.
- Sue handles issues and initiatives for sidewalks. Sidewalks should be clear of debris, trip hazards, and low branches.
- Mary Zoeller, Councilperson Email
- Mary is the Operations Manager for the Voice Tribune, Louisville’s neighborhood magazine. This and her prior work in various disciplines has given her an appreciation for people from all walks of life. She values the contributions made by anyone that help create happy, safe, and productive neighborhoods.
- Now that she has more free time she’d like to emulate those people. So, now, she is actively looking to take advantage of opportunities that allow her to give back, especially to the community of Plantation: A place that has been a blessing to live, work, and raise her son.
- Mary handles issues and initiatives for lighting.
- Lindsay Atwell, Councilperson Email
- Lindsay Atwell is proud to be the newest City Council member for our Plantation community! She has been a resident of Colonel Dr. since 2018 and shares a home with her husband Andrew and their two dogs and two cats.
- Lindsay previously served as an elected member of her condo HOA board and hopes to bring some of that experience to this council. She strives to help build an inclusive, inviting, safe and beautiful city for everyone to enjoy!
- Lindsay handles issues and initiatives for Reach Alert and community events.
